# AWS RI 구매 할당량

### **왜 이렇게 해야 하나요?** <a href="#why-do-i-need-to-do-this" id="why-do-i-need-to-do-this"></a>

AWS는 월별 RI 구매 횟수에 제한을 두었습니다. AWS 인스턴스를 생성할 때 AWS는 리전별로 이러한 리소스에 대한 기본 할당량(한도)을 설정합니다. 예약 인스턴스의 기본 한도는 월 20개로 설정되어 있는데, 이는 OpsNow가 AutoRI의 트랜잭션 알고리즘을 완전히 활용하기에는 부족합니다.

AutoRI 적격 EC2 인스턴스가 있는 각 지역의 RI 구매 할당량을 늘리기 위해 AWS에 요청을 제출하세요.

이 정보는 OpsNow AutoSavings 메뉴의 " **커버리지** " 페이지 에서 찾을 수 있습니다 . (OpsNow 플랫폼 > 왼쪽 패널 > AutoSavings > 커버리지)

**RI 할당량을 늘리려면 아래 단계를 따르세요.**

1. 연결된 계정의 AWS 콘솔에 로그인합니다 *(각 AWS 연결된 계정에 대한 직접 관리자 액세스만 할당량 증가를 요청할 수 있습니다)*
2. 콘솔 상단에서 "할당량 증가 요청"을 검색하세요.

5. 팝업창에서 " **할당량 증액 요청** " 버튼을 클릭하세요.

6. 다음 팝업에서 **"할당량 값 변경" 에 숫자(권장: 1,000)를 입력하세요.**

7. "요청"을 누르면 제출이 성공적으로 완료되면 콘솔 상단에 메시지가 나타납니다.

8. 요청 상태는 "최근 할당량 증가 요청" 섹션에서 확인할 수 있습니다. AWS에서 요청이 승인되기까지 영업일 기준 1\~3일이 소요될 수 있습니다.

9. 이제 한 리전에 대한 할당량 증가 요청이 완료되었습니다. AutoRI 대상 EC2 인스턴스가 있는 각 리전에서 할당량 증가 요청을 수행해야 합니다. AWS 콘솔 오른쪽 상단의 풀다운 메뉴에서 다른 리전을 선택하고 5단계부터 다시 시작하세요.<br>
