# Template Settings

This section provides pre-built templates created by experts to support a mature FinOps culture. The templates are designed around three key roles, those are Engineering, Finance, and Leadership. You can also create a Custom Template tailored to your organization’s specific structure.

1. By clicking the **\[Custom Template]** button, you can view and edit the template's memo information and the list of included KPIs.
   * **Template Name:** A unique name used to identify this custom template. It also acts as a label for easy selection within the Template tab.
   * **Description (Optional):** A field where you can provide detailed information about the purpose, scope, and intended users of the template.
   * **Template User (Optional):** A field where you can specify the user roles or personas best suited to use this template.

This section lists all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) currently included in the template. These are the specific metrics that the assigned team is responsible for managing.

1. **Search Bar:** Use this to filter and quickly find specific KPIs within the included list.
2. **Delete Icon (-):** The KPI will be removed from the current template.

This section displays all KPIs that are not currently included in the selected template.&#x20;

1. **Add Icon (+):** Adds the selected KPI to the current template.
2. **Save:** When setting up for the first time, you must click the \[Save] button to apply the changes to the template and enable it for group assignment.
