Scope Settings

Scope settings define the range of resources to be included in KPI calculations for the selected group.

  1. FinOps KPIs Scope: Use filters such as Account, Product, Region, Billing Tag, or general Tag to fine-tune which resources are included in your KPI measurements.

  2. + Add Filters: Add one or more conditions (e.g., Product, Region, Billing Tag, Tag) to further refine how KPIs are calculated. Each ‘condition’ is applied using an AND logic, while values within each condition follow OR logic. This means KPIs are calculated based on cloud resources that meet all selected conditions and any of their specified values.

  3. Account: A specific cloud account managed within the group. Select the relevant account value to narrow the KPI scope to that account only.

  4. Budgets KPI Scope: To measure budget-related KPIs, you can define the scope using budget tags.

  5. Budgets: Choose from pre-defined budget plans created under the Budget Management menu. KPI evaluation will be based on the selected budget criteria.

  6. Value: Displays the name of the selected budget. This value must be set for budget-related KPIs (Category: Budget) to be properly calculated. If no budget is selected, the KPI will not be measured.

  7. After setting your filters, click [Save] to apply the changes.
