Usage Charges Tab
The Analytics dashboard provides a detailed visualization of your cloud usage charges, allowing you to analyze cost trends over time by account, product, or region, all while leveraging AI-powered insights to highlight significant spending patterns.
CSP Selection: Select a cloud service then the information on the dashboard will update to display data based on the selected service.
Data Filter Bar: This is a comprehensive set of filters that allows users to define the specific data scope for the report. This includes selecting the Period, Account, Product, and Region. It also provides options to use Saved Filters or access More Filters for advanced queries.
Trend Grouping Filter (Top N): This dropdown controls the number of items displayed in the chart. Users can select to view the Top 3, Top 5, or Top 10 items based on cost.
Trend Grouping Dimension (By): This dropdown defines the dimension used to group the cost data in the chart. Users can select to group the data by Account, Product, or Region.
Total & Aggregation Toggle: This area displays the Total cost for the selected filter criteria. The Daily/Monthly toggle allows the user to change the time aggregation of the main chart from daily data points to monthly data points.
Chart View Toggle: These tabs allow the user to switch the visualization mode of the main chart.
Cost Trends: Displays the absolute monetary cost over time.
Cost Percentage: Displays the relative proportional cost as a 100% stacked chart.
OpsNow Insight AI: An AI-driven analysis panel that provides a natural language summary of the cost data. It highlights significant trends, anomalies, and potential areas for investigation. You can download a report by clicking the Download button or view the analysis in detail by clicking the Expand icons within this panel.
Cost Trend Chart: The primary visualization area that displays the cost data over the selected period. A legend can be toggled to identify each segment of the bar.
Search Bar: To find specific information, type a keyword in the search bar.
Export Data: This icon allows you to download or export the data currently displayed in the table, typically as a CSV or Excel file, for offline analysis or reporting.
Detailed Data Table: This table provides a detailed, itemized breakdown of the cost data summarized in the chart above, includes the following columns:
Total Spend: The total cost for that specific item over the selected period.
Cost Percentage: The percentage of the total cost that this item represents, shown with a visual bar for easy comparison.
Daily Columns: These columns show the specific cost incurred by that item on each individual day of the selected period.
