Utilization Tab
The utilization is one of the indicators of how well you are using or benefiting from the commitment. This is the percentage of the used commitment out of the total purchased commitment. In a sense, the higher the utilization, the greater the cloud cost savings.

Total Utilization: Indicates the overall effectiveness of the commitment portfolio. This metric is the percentage of the total purchased commitment value that was successfully applied to eligible usage. Higher utilization rates correlate directly to greater realized cloud cost savings. Total Utilization = (RI Used commitment amount + SP Used commitment amount) ÷ Total purchased commitment amount × 100
Commitment: Displays the total monetary value of the purchased commitment.
Used Commitment: Displays the portion of the total commitment value that was successfully applied to cover eligible resource usage.
Total Savings: The net financial savings achieved, calculated as the difference between the On-Demand Cost Equivalent for the covered usage and the cost of the commitment applied to that usage. Total Savings = (RI On-Demand Cost Equivalent + SP On-Demand Cost Equivalent) - (RI Used commitment amount + SP Used commitment amount)
Savings Rate: A percentage representing the financial efficiency of the commitments. Savings Rate = Total Savings ÷ (RI On-Demand Cost Equivalent + SP On-Demand Cost Equivalent) × 100
Utilization and Net Savings Chart: It plots the monetary value of Utilization (represented by the blue shaded area) against the Net Savings (represented by the yellow line).
