# AWS Cloud Account

These are terms you should be familiar with regarding AWS Cloud Accounts.

### **Create Stack**

**Create Stack** refers to the process of creating infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Formation service. CloudFormation is a service that defines and provisions infrastructure as code, helping you create and manage AWS resources using code.

A **Stack** is a logical grouping of AWS resources. "Create Stack" refers to the process of creating a specific stack using a CloudFormation template, which defines the preferred AWS resources and the relationships between them.

When you create a stack, the infrastructure is provisioned as defined in the template. OpsNow provides customers with an easy way to register their AWS account with OpsNow through Create Stack.

### **Linked Accounts**

In AWS, Linked Accounts represent connections between accounts managed through AWS Organizations.

This allows you to centrally manage resources and permissions, and efficiently share resources and costs across multiple AWS accounts.

Linked Accounts enable integrated security and resource management within your organization, allowing each account to operate independently while still accessing linked resources as needed.
